Meals on Wheels Orange County is launching its first-ever Pickleball Bash on Sept. 28 at the Tennis and Pickleball Club in Newport Beach. Early bird registration ends on Aug. 9, so act fast!

Laguna Beach Arts Alliance Announces New Board

The Laguna Beach Arts Alliance (LBAA) has unveiled its 2024-25 board of directors. Leading the charge are Michael Ervin as president, Jay Kramer as vice president, Rob Harryman as treasurer, and Victoria Gerard as secretary. Amy Francis Dechary, the immediate past president, expressed her enthusiasm for the new board’s dedication to the arts and involvement in various city programs.

Ervin, also an arts commissioner, looks forward to the board’s initiatives to enhance community arts. Kramer’s role with the Laguna Community Concert Band, Harryman’s work with No Square Theater, and Gerard’s position at the Laguna Art Museum bring valuable perspectives to LBAA. World Affairs Council of O.C. Hosts ‘Africa Rising’ Talk

On July 24, the World Affairs Council of Orange County will present “Africa Rising: Economics, Energy & Mineral Development, and Conflict” at the Quail Hill Community Center in Irvine.

Costa Mesa to Review Fairview Developmental Center Plans
