1. Fruitdale Park:
Fruitdale Park is located in Ashland Oregon. It is a great place for families with children to play pickleball. The park has lights, fenced pickleball courts with permanent nets, restrooms, and drinking water. There is also an asphalted parking lot where people can park and watch their children or play pickleball themselves. The best part is that the courts are free to use! Another great thing about the park is that it has a playtime scheduler on its website where players can look up pickleball schedules for when they want to come.

2. Club Northwest:
Club Northwest is another good place to play pickleball. This club is located in Ashland, Oregon. The indoor facility has eight pickleball courts and the outdoor facilities have four additional pickleball courts. Open play is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 Pm – 3 Pm. Tuesday and Thursday night open play begins at 6:30 Pm – 8:30 Pm.
The schedule for this club is Indoor – Reserve Only, Outdoor – Open. The fee for this location is free to members and 12$ all day full access pass if you are a non-member.

3. Grants Pass Ymca:
Grants Pass Ymca is the 3rd place in our list to play pickleball in the city of Ashland, Oregon. This location is a great option for those who like to play and watch pickleball. The facility has four indoor courts and one outdoor court, as well as a recreation center and workout room. The outdoor court has lights, making it the perfect place to play pickleball during summer nights!
There are two schedules to use at this location. On weekdays, there is an advanced court that opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 9:30 AM and then the open play begins at the same time. The advanced court is a bit more expensive – $13 all day – but it’s great for players who want to play when the courts are less busy.

4. Lawnridge Park:
Last, but not least is Lawnridge Park. This park offers pickleball players both an indoor and outdoor court to use as well as a nice parking lot to park in. This pickleball facility is located in Grants Pass, Oregon, and has two courts for players to choose from. The courts are lit so you can play during the darker hours before it’s time to go home.
This park is open from sunrise until midnight, so players can come whenever they want to play. There is also a restroom on-site in case nature calls.
Pickleball players are allowed to bring their own net with them, but it must be portable. Once you are done playing, return the net to your car or home for storage.
There is no fee to play at this park, so it is a great place to pickleball for free.
