BEECHER, IL – The time has finally arrived for sports fans and pickleball aficionados in Beecher. After months of eager anticipation, the village’s brand new pickleball courts are ready to welcome players starting tomorrow, Friday, September 1st. Along with the courts tailored for the paddles and plastic balls of pickleball, the new facilities also feature dedicated spaces for basketball and futsal.

Whether you’re a hardcore competitor or just looking for some casual fun with friends, these courts offer something for everyone. The versatile facilities provide the perfect outlet for staying active and engaging with the local community.
The courts will be open daily from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., when the bright court lights click off for the night. While the spaces can’t be reserved, the village encourages consideration between fellow players who are equally excited to rally on the new courts. Just remember to bring your own gear and get ready for some friendly competition!
To celebrate this momentous community addition, the village has planned an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 7th at 6:30 p.m. This grand opening event promises food, music, giveaways, and a true sense of togetherness. It’s sure to be the party of the season, so mark those calendars now!
With the courts finally completed after months of eager waiting, Beecher is ready to see its residents in action. Just imagine the energy of volleys being struck back and forth or the swish of basketballs sailing through hoops. The possibilities are endless for fun and connection. See you on the courts!
